La Fianna and Espit Chupitos

I woke up a while ago feeling great! Had a good night yesterday. First Barcelona won 3-0 and we watched the game at some bar with Mario, his friend Henry and a swedish girl. Afterwards me, Tiiiim, Diego and his two argentinian friends Pesta and Matu went to a really really cool place called La Fianna. Such a nice bar with GREAT food and pretty cheap! We had some patatas bravas, quesadillas and the best Nachos I've ever tasted. And beers of course! We chilled there for a while and once again I realized how much I love argentinian people. So friendly and helpful, giving me advices and great ideas.

Pesta and Matu were in a party mood but the rest of us decided to go home around two. But we made a short pit-stop at Espit Chupitos where I had a Polla dura (meaning a hard c*ck) which was nothing compared to the "Monica Levinsky" some swedish chicks were having right next to us. Jesus, that's the reason why I left Sweden. Such embarrassing, cheap ass chicks. Uhh...

Today as I said I feel great. Think I might make a little trip to IKEA and get the personal touch for my room. Later on I'll show you pictures of the apartment. But first I'll have a fresh juice at the market. Later peeps!

New flatmates

Lovely people how are u? Yesterday I went BAR-celoning, meaning taking a trip through the bars in this area with my new flatmates. My lord, did I laugh with Diego and Tiiiiiiiiiiiiim hahaha, frigging crazy but great guys. Later Leon joined us and we had popcorn-war, Diego showed his olive-trick and I showed my toung skills. Tiiiiiim just laughed and spread the happiness haha. We moved on to El Rabipelao and Pipas before me and Diego gave up and went home for a 4 am-snack before I went to bed.

Today I had a coffee with Manu at a super cool place that I don't remember the name of. But it was like entering the woods with trees and water, really cool and good coffee. Was great to see Manu again and we took a short trip along the Rambla before he had to head home and I met Diego by coincidence. We had a fresh coco-strawberry juice at the Boqueria market and went looking for shoes in some boutiques. We had lunch at a small but cool place where his friend works before heading back home.

Here I kicked his ass in a small DJ-battle and later on we'll meet up with Mario and some guys to watch Barcelona - Deportivo at some bar. I'll write you later ♥

Honey I'm hooome

Finally I'm HOME. In my new bed in my new room in my new home. Crazy but true and I love it so far. I got everything I need. A great location, wireless internet and a bed to sleep in. I also have three great flatmates. Leon the speeded chilean, Diego a super friendly argentinian guy and Tim the tall, blond and laidback german. I have a really good feeling about this so far. Tonight we're going to la Champagneria for a few beers and I demand to see the CL-game Inter against my Barcelona. I love this city.

By the way this song makes me wanna DANCE!

Moving in

Hello hello dear people! How nice to see that so many of you are following my crazy life down here. I woke up way too early the first time since the walls at this hotel are sooo thin you can hear everything. Kind of annoying but I snoozed for a few more hours and after a nice (trying to be positive here) breakfast at the bar across the street I feel like a brand new miss Castells.

Yesterday I had some tapas for dinner and then I went to this bar El Rabipelao where my new flatmate Messi works. He made me a very very strong "Guarrapita" which was very needed after a long day. I laughed a lot, there are a whole bunch of wack people in this city and I realize how important it is to be really careful around here. Now I'm gonna get my shit together here and then grab a cab over to my new home. Man it feels weird to say that...

Later peeps!

Sorry for the lack of pics by the way, I'll change that, I promise!

Central vs. Camp Nou?

My goodness am I tired or what?! Four flats seen in one day and I'm exhausted, you hear me people: EXHAUSTED! As I told you before the second flat wasn't a very big hit so I crossed my fingers and went to Barrio Gótico and there I had some better luck! The flat was really cool and artistic and so was the guy who showed me around. He's chilean and there are two other guys in the flat aswell, one argentinian (!!) and a german guy. The room I would rent was small but nice with a french balcony so I really liked it.

I've also seen one very close to lovely Camp Nou which is great but it's about 20 minutes from the city center which is not that great. But it was a big and nice flat where three girls are living. The best thing about it is the acces to two nice swiming pools but the bedroom was small and boring. So now it's really between those two I guess and I think I've made up my mind allready...

I'm starting to feel good now.
I just might have a beer or two tonight?

Oh and by the way - this poster is in the middle of la Rambla but in size ENORMOUS and the X is muuch smaller. I drool everytime I pass by. Sexy ass Fernando Verdasco for CC.

How much MY ASS

Well flat number 2 was a big disapointment. First of all the owner came 10 minutes late and I had to wait outside in the pouring rain where I met an argentinian chic who were also supposed to see the room. While we were waiting this 50+ douschebag comes up to me and stands way too close and says "hola". I gave him a short "hola" back and he goes like "cuanto cobras", meaning how much?

YUCK! Thank god the owner showed up before I kicked the dirty old mans butt. And well, the room didn't smell too good at all, the rest of the apartment were kind of dirty and there were too many people living there. Cheap but not nice at all. But I just got a call from an argentinian guy in Barrio Gótico and he wants to see me ASAP soo, as Simon (not Paul Simon this time but Simon Horowitz) would have said:

I'm ghost...

Wish me luck!

Flat hunt and heavy bags

Ufff, I love Barcelona but I hate plaza Catalunya right now. It's a huuuge square and my hotel is called hotel Catalunya so I just assumed it has to be in the middle of the damned square. But no no. After running around it like an idiot about four times (ok, one and a half but it felt like four) with all my HEAVY bags I found it on a stupid backstreet. Tss...

The trip however went fine. I am one skilled traveler or maybe just a lucky bastard but the woman behind the check in desk didn't say a word about my 26 TWENTY SIX kilos. That's six kilos too much people. But nono, no problems. Well finally at the hotel I just put my face on and ran downtown to grab something to eat and then I started my flat hunt.

So far I've seen one flat. A very friendly guy lives there and the room I might rent belongs to a 21 year old girl from Stockholm right now and no, it's not me. Yet. Now I'm gonna see another one that I think I might be even more interested in actually. It's even closer to la Rambla, meaning not so much walking around the kinda scary Raval area. Gotta run now, smell ya later!

I'm on my way

At Arlanda airport. Torn between total happiness and the mean little voices inside my head telling me to grab a cab and get the flock outta here. But there's no turning back now. I do want this so badly and I'm finally on my way. So I say as Simon and Garfunkel:

Well I'm on my way.
I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way...

See you guys in Barcelona ♥

Adios Estocolmo - Hola Barcelona

Tomorrow I'm moving to Barcelona. I've wanted to leave Sweden now for many many years and since I'm half Spanish, what better place to live than Barcelona is there? So what's my plan then? To be honest I don't really have a plan. I'm a very spontanious person who loves to travel and meet new people and my motto is: everything is gonna be allright.

So tomorrow I'll be in Bcn around noon and then I'll start my flat-hunt. I think I'll start by renting a room in some nice, central flat and then when I have a job and my life a bit more sorted out I'll try to find my own place. When it comes to jobs I'm sure I can get something sooo easily. There are millions of jobs available in bars, restaurants, hotels and so on. The only problem is me - I can be quite picky when it comes to jobs but I have to start somewhere.

I also have a few friends living in the city which is great. People to hang with, good contacts or a shoulder to cry on. Well, now you know what my preliminary plan is at least and I really hope you will join me on my crazy adventures in a completely new city. Here we GO!

Loads

Sorry for being so damn boring but I have LOOOAAADS to do before tomorrow. I will write you later and tell you everything about this trip. XX

El Clásico and a Rendez-Vous...

Tonight has been a very very good night. For those of you who didn't know it there was some serious soccer going on. El Clásico, meaning Real Madrid versus my FC Barcelona and soooo much on stake. And of course we did it, it's like nothing is impossible this year. 0-2, goals by Messi and Pedro and Madrid a la p*uta calle as we say in spanish. Feels so sweet.

But that is not the only great thing that happened tonight. I managed to set up a small rendez-vous in Barcelona soon. Can't believe how long it was since last time I grabbed those curls in pleasure and soon it'll happen again. And this time we both know the rules and there are absolutely no strings attached. Perfecto!

Eeehhhh... Eeeeehhhhhh... Hahahaha!

Young and careless

I had a dream about him tonight. I ran into him somewhere completely unexpected and all those feelings just punched me in solar plexus again. He hadn't changed a bit. It didn't matter that he wasn't available anymore, he used his charm and I fell, over and over again...  Just like he knew I would.

Those young and careless days...

Suitcase chase

I'm just back from a little trip with my dad all over Stockholm. Have been looking for a proper suitcase for my trip to Barcelona and finally I found the perfect one. It's HUGE! Now I'm gonna start filling it up and clean my room. Question of today: How can you fit your entire life in one suitcase..?

Best friends

Back from a few nice hours with Feli over a cup of tea. How I love that girl, she's so cool, fun and inspiering. It's always so hard to say goodbye to her and we've done it a few times now. When she left for a year in Denmark, when I left for seven months in Mallorca and now when I leave... forever? But at the same time it was easier since we know how close we actually are, it's just a short flight and voilá, together again!

Just had some dinner with daddy and soon I'm off for the city again, this time to meet up with Mirella and Elinor to say goodbye to them aswell. Hate goodbyes but what can you do. These girls are my best friends after all ♥

Tea time

Off for some tea (yes Simon, tea not coffee!) with my princess Felicia.
Smell ya later!

Not so good morning

Guten Morgen! I haven't slept too good tonight so I'm not feeling very good today. Got a really bad cold going on and a million things to do. How are you? How do you feel about a little competition? I'll try to think of something good here while I'm packing and I'll let you know a bit later okey?

Coffee with Cadring

Just got back from a great day with gorgeous miss Cadring. We had several coffees at Fridays and when the sun wasn't hot enough we moved on to Kungshallarna for some Libanese food. Sooo nice to catch up, gossip and plan for Barcelona. I'm sure it's gonna ROCK when she gets down there. Now I have to answer some email regarding apartments and other interesting stuff. I'll write you later lieblings! ♥

Sleeping on my back

I just woke up. On my back! My entire life i've slept facedown, barely even breathing because of the pillow. If I tried to fall asleep on my back I felt unprotected and not comfy at all. But lately something must have changed cus I find myself getting more and more tired and super comfortable on my back and even waking up with the sun shining on my face. Very nice!

Today I have a date with miss Cadring in Kungsan. She's moving to Barcelona in a few months aswell and I haven't seen her for aaaages (if we don't count that night at Undici a few weeks ago) so it's gonna be great to catch up and gossip a bit. But first - Shower!

Later darlings.

Oh and by the way! How do you guys sleep??

Sant Jordi

Tonight is a good night. I just installed the software for my Blackberry successfully, Manchester United just lost against Bayern Munich (sorry Simon..) and I've spoken to a person I'm missing loads but will see soon. This person also taught me a bit about a spanish tradition that is coming up soon. It's called Sant Jordi and basicly the men give the women roses and the women give the men a book. Sadly he won't be in town since he's away racing in Japan that weekend, otherwise I'd be flattered to give him a book.

Capri

Pizza Capriiii I'm coming for you...
